Please read the detailed descriptions of the training sessions below and choose which training session you will be attending further down. Please note you will only be able to select ONE of these sessions as they run concurrently with one another.
Session 1: It Starts With a Spark-a Comprehensive Guide to Successful Ignition Acquisition and Waveform Analysis
Venue: Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
This in-depth class covers all critical aspects of ignition analysis, including theory and operation, proper tooling and scope setup, waveform analysis, voltage and amperage, snap-throttle testing, ignition timing, and more.
Revisit diagnostic techniques that have been overshadowed by modern technology. While direct access to the ignition point has become more challenging, the laws of physics remain unchanged—making ignition waveform acquisition and analysis more valuable than ever.
Through real-world examples and case studies, attendees will learn how to effectively apply tools and techniques in a practical setting. The class is highly interactive and designed to build confidence through hands-on learning.
Participants will leave with a strong understanding of ignition systems, how to acquire and analyze waveforms plus gain the confidence to choose the right tools, integrate waveform analysis into their diagnostics, and reduce reliance on time-consuming methods.
Session 2: ADAS: Successful Calibrations & Troubleshooting
Venue: 1/42 Smith St, Capalaba QLD 4157
This class is designed to help technicians build effective and repeatable procedures for accurately calibrating today’s most common static and dynamic ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
We'll start with a concise overview of ADAS sensors and their functions to establish a strong foundational understanding. From there, the course will dive into troubleshooting techniques, calibration best practices, and common pitfalls—providing valuable insights for both experienced ADAS technicians and those new to the field.
